w123 240D fuel pump identification

I have a UK RHD 240D and am wondering if the fuel pump is in any way 'special'. I will be swapping the engine, and if it is indeed of interest someone might be looking for this one. I don't know as I'm not really that into the OM616 (sorry!).

This is an older post but still relevant, even moreso now. I plan to sell the OM616 AND 4 SPEED MANUAL from my UK spec 240D this summer, once my engine swap plan progresses.

For someone looking for an older but still ticking (216k miles) OM616 and manual trans this could be for you.

I'll keep updating this and looking for more specs on this pump...

It used to be the Russian parts sites if you went to the fuel injection pumps and used the Mercedes part number off of the tag you could go down list and see what part number rages matches the vehicle you selected.

Pick the vehicle you want the pump to go in and look up what part numbers work for that vehicle.

Judging by the part number, its an M-Pump. It should have Splined socket delivery tubes. The euro 240D I had a while back was relatively peppy. It had an M-Pump. RHD or LHD, no difference with the IP.
