W210 E300 driveshaft center support
 

When looking up parts to do the driveshaft center support on a 99 E300, some of the parts sites such as FCP list part number 2114100181 as the correct part, which according to EPC this appears to fit E320 wagon and V8 210 cars among other models. Basically seems to be for V6 and V8. The EPC seems to indicate the correct part number is 2114100081 which appears to fit diesels and 104 E320 in the W210. The parts look identical at least in the photos but I have not seen the 2 side by side. I could have sworn and one point in the past I ordered the first part number to use on a diesel and it worked fine, but not sure if I am remembering correctly. Does anyone know what the actual difference is between the 2 parts?

A different year and model. But the original one on mine had the part number on it in tiny tiny number. If your old one has the part number on it maybe, you can find it.

I have the part numbers. I just need to know what the difference is between the 2 different numbers.
