TRIM UNDER TAILIGHTS and STRIP under headlights
I removed the trim that fits under the taillights in order to do some minor paint repairs.
When I went to re-install the trim, it now doesn't seem to fit! I insert the end with the bolt through the hole, then try and push the trim into place. However, it no longer follows the radius of the body! (BTW, the lights are out at this point) Anyone had this problem? Seems I may have to heat the piece to make it more flexible?

I applied heat to the rubber, mainly along bottom edge and was able to pull the trim back into shape.

Next step was to paint the strips that run under the headlight "doors". As I recall, that strip is actually an integral part of the front fender. Why, I have no idea! It takes a beating, so often needs refinishing.
So how to get at it? I could just tape around and do best I can. Better would be to remove the headlight door and perhaps also the rubber at bottom. So how hard is it to get the headlight doors off? Both have cracks from stones, so should be replaced. But I will probably just run some crazy glue into the cracks. OK, looks like I just unscrew the 3 hand-nuts off the back and they will pop off. I hope so! New ones would be nice or used with no cracks!

Got the job complete on weekend. Back on road again with new brakes, rust spots removed and paint touched up where needed.
