Need proper instructions for changing sunroof seal on W124
 

Oddly enough on my W124, even though the old sunroof seal was simply take out and put the old one back in, it doesn't work that way with a new seal. I bought a Mercedes seal but being that it's thicker because it's newer rubber you can't just push it in place and have it work. Something needs adjusting somewhere.

I saw and old post talking about a ROM Procedure 77-130. Does anyone have this or know where I can see it? And the next question is, the old post someone put up was of him asking for help because he couldn't understand the proceedures; they didn't make sense.

Has anyone done this before to adjust or move something so a new seal could fit it? We have it where the flip up works but the roof won't slide forward and backward; it binds and won't go back at all. It's not that it needs to sit and form in there for a few days because we put this in last year and the sunroof still won't slide back.
