I've heard the US built ones have the problems and mostly with the sensors. The ones built in Germany have fewer problems.

It's really really sad, isn't it? As most of us are aware, for years Mercedes was literally the KING OF THE ROAD. Consumer Report's reviews are proof positive that ANY brand has to continue to work hard to maintain their #1 position. One of the complaints I hear from mercedes owners is lack of customer service.


I disagree with Consumer Report's analysis of hybrid cars. An electric motor and a gasoline engine combined with 80 or more interlinked computers? What could possibly go wrong?
