Mystery pieces - W123

I'm hoping someone can help me to identify what these are.
I found them on the floor under the car following removal of the rear suspension (control arms, diff carrier, etc).
I'm usually very good about bagging, labeling, and photographing parts during disassembly. These just managed to slip the net somehow.

Those look vaguely familiar.. are they the plates that the driveshaft center support bearing bolts into? That's my first guess.

Possible.
The driveshaft had been out of the car for a while before the whole rest of the rear end was removed.
Could be that they fell out at some point. I'll take a look next time I'm at the car.

Thank you.

Center support plates that receive the bolts that hold the support. Essentially an oddly shaped captured nut.
