W123 Rear Panel access
 

I need to repair/replace the rear panel on my 1981 240D.
I am looking for information on access to the rear (inside) of the panel.
Specifically, I am wondering if the plastic trim piece along the very top of the panel is meant to be pried off (secured with clips) or if there is hardware somewhere that I am not seeing.


From there I'll need to remove the inner panel from inside the trunk so I can access the inside of the rear panel.


Any information will be greatly appreciated. I have searched the FSM, but have found nothing.
