Question 1985 300SD Ignition Lock

My Ignition Lock is stuck on my 85 300 SD. I have tried the newest key, jiggling and vibrating to get it to turn. I have obtained a new tumbler from Mercedes. Are ther any other ideas short of drilling? If not is there a specific area to drill? Thanks.

Of all the problems I read about this is the one that, in my opinion, ranks up there as one of the worst. A regular drill bit on a drill motor ain't gonna touch it. I would strongly suggest putting some powered graphite in the key hole and keep trying to "work" it to get it to turn. Someone with more experience with me will have to speak up on the procedure for getting it out without turning it. Do a search on "tumbler" also.
