Ernesto,
I see no one has responded, so I will try to stimulate a little interest and a few of the guys to think about your situation. I am an anti-automatic transmission type, so I am nearly purposely ignorant of the details. However, if you have never had the transmission adjusted, I seem to recall in the posts on issues here with transmission shifting that there are some bands that can be adjusted, and there are some vacuum items that control the shifting (harsh or smooth) action. These vacuum items seem to be at fault most of the time, as they will either become ineffective if the system leaks vacuum (how are your door locks?) or the components and tubes/fittings directly involved with the transmission control (edit) leak vacuum. The fact that your transmission only slips when the shift occurs under load would seem to point to a control issue, not a failed mechanical part. I imagine a lot of slipping and the transmission will experience premature mechanical wear though. Hope this gets some others with real experience fixing/trouble shooting these transmissions to respond, and good luck. Jim
