Hi,
I have a 1986 190E 16V. The car seems to vibrate at all engine speeds from idle on up. Just recently, it had a very hard shift from second to third gear and would not go into the next gear. I was doing 3000 RPMs at 30 MPH. Could this be related? ie--the tranny causing the vibrations? It is now shifting normally but the vibrations seem to have gotten worse? Bad torque converter or transmission? Any suggestions or ideas on a fix would be greatly appreciated.
