new US MB Diesels?
Not wishing to raise false hopes here or speculate - however, a sales rep at my local dealer recently commented that he heard there's a chance the new E class CDI may arrive in '04 models.
Anybody else heard that rumor?

Yes my dealer also said this last week.
There is being much work done on lowering the sulphur content in oil, its only a matter of time before they are back, in 2007 the new regs hit the law books, it sure would be nice to see the V-8 and V-10's with twin turbos here! |

I recently toured the Mercedes plant in Alabama, and the CDI engines sitting in the ML class sure looked sweet.

Yes, we should be able to put up a blockade at the export terminals and force all those CDI powered ML's to stay in our country!
Have a great day, |
