I'm sure Diesel exhaust, or any exhaust for that matter, isn't good for you and can potentially cause cancer and other health problems. Cleaner fuel is the answer, it's working in Europe. If you do enough studies and do them the "right" way you can probably conclude that breathing oxygen is bad for you too.

Heard a quote the other day from some former (overweight) coach:

"It sure would be a bummer to be in great shape when I die...."

I'm getting some grief these days driving diesels but who cares....

I love these environmentalist types - they are soooo cute and enthusiastic. It's so sad they can be brainwashed so easily and be so wrong so many times ...

Cool Diesel Exhaust

Indeed the answer is fuel and engine technology.

Europe has solved the problem with ultra low sulfur fuel and CDI.

The real answer for emissions and durable product cycles would be Natural gas or fuel cells.

Personally I like the concept of biodiesel, a renewable and low emissions fuel.

I will stubornly drive my old MB iron until they take them from my cold dead hands.

Good to hear that there are more people out there that are educated in the sciences like biology, I've got a BS and almost a MS, that aren't totally brainwashed.
