300cd for sale

I just bought a new truck last night. I am hoping to sell my 1980 300CD. Here are some of the details.
1. Engine is a rebuilt non-turbo from a 1977 300d. Runs great, burns very little or no oil(maybe 1/2qt in 3000mi driving over mountains), I have put 30k since in last 3 1/2 years with no engine problems except glow plug failure. Previous owner says he put 10k since rebuild.
2. transmission gave me trouble at first, a little experimenting and I had it working real nice for about 2 years, since moving to Palm Springs into the 100+ degree weather and not using car much, seems like it needs tinkering with again. Trans will make a few drips after driving on freeway for several hours, other wise doesn't leak.(as of 12/02 trans is great. New 3 way valve!)
3. 1999 Clk wheels, euro bumpers, new paint(an O.k paint job. looks good but not a factory quality job. Silver with Black leather.
Dash has one very small crack, brand new windshield, Brand new rotors and calipers two years ago. very cool and reliable car. I drive it eveyday and everywhere. Please make an offer. Car is in San Diego. I'm in Tacoma, Wa.

E-mail me for more info

Sounds like a nice buy offhand...and my girlfriend's looking for a running car...although I would guess you'd want more than she could offer in the near future

Just wondering, how quick are you planning on getting rid of it?

Warden, I'd like to sell it soon. I don't need it and I don't want to take up parking at my apartment complex. I'd like to sell it to someone that will accept these cars for their great attributes as well as accept and deal with their "quirks". andy
