Cool Temperature sensor: Resistance vs Temps

While working on the continuing battle of running a little hot ( 95-105 C) during the summer, I decided to try replacing the engine temperature sensor. Before installing the new one I placed it in a pan of water on the stove and measured it's resistance vs. Temperature. The results are attached in the zipped EXCEL spread sheet complete with graph. Hope this helps with the knowledge base for the group. BTW It didnt seem to help with the high temp readings. So I have replaced the thermostat, had the cooling system flushed, replaced an ailing fan clutch, new pressure cap, checked for leaks w/o sucess. Since reading the posts on overheating My guess is the 19 year old radiator is next on the list of suspects.

Thanks for all the help and good information Russ

Thanks! I found that on my malfunctioning sensor, the black plastic part was loose in the metal housing. Replaced it and all has been well.
