HOW TO PAY FOR OUR DIESEL FORUM STICKERS (and pricing info)

Greetings everyone,
I have finally calculated the pricing info of the stickers I am having printed for our discussion group. **Please send $1.50 per sticker in the form of check or money order to my address below.** Please include your forum screen name along with your address, e-mail and any other information you think I should have. Also, although I am pretty good at math and could figure out how many stickers you want by looking at the amount you are giving me, please jot down somewhere how many you want. If you want more than you had previously requested, it will be no problem as I am paying for a moderately large surplus to be printed for people who may want one in the future (I am printing double the # requested).

As a reminder of what you're buying, I have attached a picture of the final sticker design. The one I sent to the printer is a slightly simpler version of the design below, and will be printed on white vinyl with a sticky back. They should be ready and sent out in the mail to all of you by the start of the second week of October.

If I determine that I have way more surplus than I think I will need, I may distribute some extras to you all at no cost.

For any newcomers who were not involved in the sticker design process, you are definitely welcome to buy as many as you'd like as again, I will have surplus.

I may be reached at ajh268@nyu.edu or at 914-837-1425 if you have any questions. Thanks again.

To all those who will be sending me money for stickers, there is no need to include a self-addressed stamped envelope. Just don't forget to include your mailing address somewhere, and I will take care of envelope stuffing and stamping.

Please put me down for 4 stickers. I know I had committed to buying some stickers a while back, but, somehow I didn't make the final list. I will send a check today.

Alex,

I think you said a sticky back on the stickers. Shouldn't they have a sticky front so that they can be placed inside windows facing out? Or maybe you are thinking of bumper stickers. Maybe you could have some of each made. I would prefer the window mounted ones.

P E H,
They haven't started the printing process yet. I will call them right now and find out for you. Michael Kinsley and I had decided that sticky backs would have more application because then you could put them anywhere, including the window, although it would go on the outside. I will ask anyway for you though and then we'll decide. Maybe I can have both printed. There is a "set up" fee and if they don't charge me two times for both kinds of stickers, I will try and have both printed.

If it's possible to get one or the other, I'd prefer stickers with a sticky face, so you can put them in the window from the inside. While on the road, I have a tendency to use those fuel station squeegees that aren't real nice to stickers...

$$ will be on the way in the next couple of days. I may actually opt for a 3rd one...

Thanks again!!

Alex,

Thanks for trying for the window stickers.

I've been thinking about them and they may be more difficult to make since the glue would have to be put on after the printing process. But then again, a company in the sticker business may have the facilities where they can easily apply the glue on the front with the paper covering.

Checks in the mail. To bad you don't have Paypal.

PAYPAL is OK

I'm sorry that I didn't sort this out earlier, but for those of you who haven't paid and would like to use paypal, that is just fine.

If you do, please send the money to alex909@cloud9.net, NOT NOT NOT ajh268@nyu.edu

Thanks

P.E., Sorry I didn't figure this out before you sent money in the mail.

Alex

that would make a pretty kick ass tshirt. Are there still stickers left?

By the way, those stickers that people are asking for that stick on the inside of people's windows are really worthless if you have tinted windows. I tried that with a vanderbilt sticker on the inside of the back window in my tahoe a few years back, and not only could you not see it whatsoever thru the tint, it left a sticky adhesive that I couldn't get off for the 113k I owned the truck, trying everything from 3m adhesive remover to lighter fluid and razor blades, LOL!

Sixto,
They are 3X3. I thought it was an appropriate size.

When will you ship those stickers?

Please let us know when you mail out rhe stickers.
I assume that something has kept them from being printed when planned.
