w 123 tough to start when cold
1983 300 CD
When outside temp is less than 60 degrees she has a tough time starting. I wait for the glow plug indicator to go off then try to crank it and nothing happenes. Usually have to do this 3 or 4 times, then I don't wait for the indicator to go off and try to start it and she starts with out any problems. Is this normal? any suggestions? thanks |

Sounds like your glow plugs aren't working. Check the archives for troubleshooting them.

Try waiting 5-10 seconds for the light to go out before starting.
