Did anyone see the Diesel Performance Article?
 

I just picked up the new Mercedes Enthusiast... Was anyone aware of the efforts Brabus has made to equate the word DIESEL with performance and speed? I would highly rec the mag, its worth the read. Its interesting as to what Brabus had to say about the modern diesel platform....

also in that issue, be sure to check out the story about the Santa Monica taxi company that uses (almost) only 300SDs!

Yeah, I caught that. I'm trying to write the article on the two NYC E320 cabs that are in the city... But if you want to see Diesels in distress, serving livery, got to the Middle East (when we are not waging war!)

when i lived on the Upper East Side, i remember seeing one of the E320s on a regular basis. the driver was an older man, possibly of german extraction. never had a chance to hail him.

he sure was in that neighborhood a lot...

Just left my last two issues at my brother's house in Fort Worth last weekend. He's an enthusiast too. Don't expect to ever see them again. Suppose I should just bite the bullet and order a new one from the UK. :(

If I give up a few lattes at Starbucks in the next month I can justify it, right??
