E-Bay--Place your bets

Anyone wanna guess what this one will sell for? I'll set the over/under at $3300, which will be my guess too.

"Paint has been freshened up..." raises another red flag. (rust?)

I will take a guess that this one will sell for $3150.
Too many undisclosed comments for my taste.

(It is a nice looking MB!)

$2600 is my guess at what it will sell for.

When looking at a car on ebay I always look at how "dark" the fluid is in the brake reservoir to gauge how aggressive the maintenance was on a car. If it is real dark then, in my opinion, the maintenance was not aggressive enough. This one looks like the maintenance was not performed up to my standards - again, my opinion.

I, personally, would not pay over $2k for it - especially considering the fact that it is running r134 in TX.

Wink

I 'll place my bet at $3100. Someone will be drawn by that fact it's a "southern car" because the seller is in Texas (but who knows where the car has been prior to that). Obviously the seller is not an MB enthusiast since no real important descriptions of the vehicle are indicated. I agree on the dark fluids. Both the brake and the coolant are much too dark for being changed at recommended intervals. The "no reserve" also scares me a bit. But, it appears to be a nice looking car!

I'm betting the 'freshened paint" is some touch up with a bottle of paint and a match stick. Follewed by a nice wax and dry. There, the used car special paint job.
He will get $2800.

I'm going to have to agree with Diesel Don. $2850.

At first glance it looks nice. Real leather, a plus in my book just because it's rarer than MB Tex, but more $$ to replace.

On second look, I do see the overlay on the dash, but that wouldn't stop me from buying. They're only $650 at the dealer. My CD came complete with a cracked dash.

Fresh paint? Only on the hood, top and trunk? Hmmmmmm.

With a little over a day left, I am going to change my guess to $2300. It doesn't look like it will make it to $3,680.

Sorry Eric---No changing allowed!--All bets are final!!!!----just kidding. That $2200 guess is looking good. Wish I had ones like this to choose from here on the rocks.

Yeah converted to r-134, but doesn't say if it's working.

12 mins left

well with 12 mins left looks like junior member Lonny was right on the money. Never know though....Damn wish I knew someone who could've checked that one out for me. I was really tempted but could never do it sight unseen. Just talked to a guy yesterday over here in Honolulu shipping a benz from texas to honolulu for 1200 bucks.....Sure makes me think....Thanks for playing guys....Aloha
