Another odd 300SD

Teal with Creme MB-Tex. Teal was pretty popular on later 126 cars (88-91) but I have never seen this color on an early 126. I like it.

I never knew that the 1982 US models came with ABS? I always have read that it wasn't an option until somewhere around 1984 or 1985, but that could have been some false information.

It is nice... Actually, the factory color is called Blue Green. DB made it from the early 60's up till 1989, after of which they produced "Teal Green" the same color of the 350SD you had for a brief stint. I love the Mercedes Greens, the Blue Green looks especially nice with cars of a lot of chrome. I've seen Blue Green 124s, with not the same effect of say 123s, 107s or 116s.... Almost every Blue Green car came with the Creme or Parchment interior. My father's old 560 SL was this color, and was somewhat rare and a special order when new.

Notice how the seller tries to hide the classic wear spot on the seat with the seatbelt!

That color was very popular in the early 80's...I remember many 123's(and early 124's) and also SL's in this color

I didn't see an ABS pump under the hood in the picture...but all in all the car looks pretty clean....I think $3500 is about all the car is worth though

You mean the classic sagging seatbelt.

That car doesn't have ABS.

Actually, my car's the exact same color outside, and I believe inside as well. I've seen one or two 126's in the same exterior color...quite nice.
