10-20 nm for the line nuts and 70-80 nm for the injectors. remember to use new heat shields when you replace the injectors

Eventually, any diesel I own gets its injectors checked. I go to a local diesel injection service (that's their name) shop. Just did the five in my 300D since I had it apart, doing chain and rails. Always a good feeling to have the shop check them for pattern and presure. They should all pop within 50psi of each other. Guy did mine the other day while I waited.
Maybe move the suspect injector to another cylinder and see if the problem moves? If heat shield was truely missing, injector could be in trouble. I usually just loose mine because I forget to pull them and then when I crank the engine over to blow out the crud, well the discs get launched!

I moved theinjectors around, same dead hole.

Do you know if you're getting the right pressure at that cylinder? Maybe something's clogging the injector line, or maybe something's wrong with the injector pump...

Just a thought...I would guess bad compression except that you already ruled that out...good luck!
