Caliper bolts?
Is it a 'must' to replace the caliper bolts when doing a brake job or can I use locktite on the old ones?

Personally, I do not replace the bolts. I just clean them up and torque to the specified value. Oh yea, I also use the blue Locktite on them.

I agree, just clean the thread really well, use Brakleen to degrease and then blue Loctite(242). These are not 'stretch' bolts or TTY bolts, they only tell you to replace them because of liability concerns. If you have eyes you can tell if the bolts are $hit.
