I got them Thanksgiving blues..
And I thought I solved my cold start issues! It got far below 25 degrees up hear last night, I go to glow my bad boy in the morning and nothing but a slow turning of the engine. I rolled her inside, charged the weak battery, fixed the slipping alternator belt (this is probably what caused battery to be low) I was thinking of ways to get him started, and to my disdain, I looked down and saw the dreaded block heater cord:the cord Id never thought I would need to use. I plugged it in, and 2 hours later she started. I charged the battery (which was low) and I am going to leave it out tommorow again and attempt to start it to see if it's time to throw in the towel and use the block heater or if I just had a bad battery.

I know
If its this cold now, I can't imagine in February! It'll be plugged in all night! I am just happy the block heater works, its hissing was like bliss. I am going to go out in about a half an hour and see if she fires up. Its 31 degrees right now, but it was far colder overnight. We'll see how things work out.
