My "new" 300D!!

Well, finally, after years of wanting one, I have one!! I picked up my "new" 1984 300D in NC yesterday. Original California car, records, window sticker, 128K. Grey w/black and only one small dent. It has some small issues as they all do but overall its in great shape. I have quite a bit of experience with non-MB diesels such as doing, injectors, pumps, head gaskets, timing belts, etc. and a good set of tools so I am hoping to do almost all the maintenance myself. Some questions on the car and what I need:
1) What manual/reference is recommended?
2) Do injectors need to be changed regularly? My experience with other diesels is while they don't need to be done, they do run much better with fresh injectors every 100-150K
3) How to adjust valves? Special tools needed?
Thanks, any help is appreciated, please look at my other posts! RT

Welcome aboard
a) get printed manuals for the car from ebay
b) just keep a good diesel fuel additive in every other tank of fuel or so and you should get more than a year out of the injectors
c) you can use regular open end wrenches but it goes alot easier with the "bent" ones. Again, look to eaby.
You should be able to get all your questions answered concerning maintenance, etc.. from this site.
