Help! - Heat not working

Lately my 1982 300 TD has not been working well. My wife is talking "sell". This is the latest:

Most of the time the heat blower does not work at all. Sometimes it comes on for 10 seconds then shuts down. When I set to "cold" fan still does not work. One note - I replaced the monovalve last winter.

Weather is cold. Car is cold. Wife is cold. I am sure you get the picture.

Please advise.
