illustrated breakdown on 78 300SD turbo diesel
 

Hi diesel guys,
Does anyone know where I might get a diesel engine breakdown for a 78 300SD turbo diesel? I am rebuilding my diesel and it has taken me almost 3yrs to rebuilt it and now I can't remember how everything goes together. The manual I have just scratches the surface on rebuilding. Thanks Turboted

I have the MB Service Manual for the 617.95 engine, and it has some pretty specific photos, diagrams, and step-by-step on many things, although it's not specifically written with a complete rebuild in mind. If there's any particular steps or parts of the engine you need help with, I could scan and e-mail you some of the appropriate pages. Let me know.
