Why don't we all post a picture of our diesels?

Picture taken at night with the garage light off and dome light on.

Nice car guys... I want a 115 too.. damn I want all old Benzes
BTW Speedy300dturbo, thinking of replacing the wheels on the 300D?

Here's a very recent picture. This weekend at a car wash place...

That was the longest carwash ever.. 3hrs!! My friend with his 2000 BMW 323ci and I decided to wash our cars after all the bad weather driving. My car was sooo dirty that the paint looked faded.. (I mean,.... dirt and the 'beautiful' anthracite gray color kinda matched)...

I should've taken a before picture...

If I get that 500E I'll miss this diesel..unless I could get the 500E for 'cheap' (less than asked) then I might keep the 300CD I love the 500E but the 123 has all the right 'lines' that classic MB's have... that the 124 doesn't...call me weird..

If you have sharp eyes you'll notice that the RR wheel seems to only have 1 lug bolt... don't worry the other four are just the 'wrong' lug bolts (they are the newer ones w/o the elongated heads)

Another one.. sorry I just love the way the 123's look from behind....

Here's a pic of my 300CD. Not the best photo but it'll do. I can't wait to get the windows tinted, then I won't have to cover up the seats everytime I have to park it in the sun when I can't find a shaded spot. I always use a sunshade though.

Holson Adi-
It truly is a unique color for the W123 body style (especially for the coupes) I only wish that my paint wasn't fading on my hood and roof. I like the anthracite grey color too. That is the color of my brothers' 87 300D.

Okay, I'll join in.

Below is a picture of "ol' Silver." She has over a half million miles and is now out to pasture. She's an '84 Euro, manual transmission, manual sunroof, manual windows, manual a/c, cloth interior, etc.

She lost oil pressure, so I put an interim engine in, and it is too tired to start now. My 2003 New Years resolution is to see her back on the road by years end. If the company doesn't finish going broke, I expect to get that done.

After you drive a car as long as I did this one, you get attached.

Here she is, out to pasture, with plenty of grass to graze on:

This is my 1985 300TDT, "Peyton" I love her dearly. Id like to post a picture of her with my skis on the roof (in her current state), but for now this will do.

98 E300 TD

I have a picture of my 98 E300 TD that I would like to share, but I am relatively computer illiterate: the message says the file is too big to attach. My picture is 208Kb and it seems that the limit is around 66000 bytes. Any suggestions computer guys?

I am about to take her on a 2000 mi round trip to my home in Virginia from Mississippi and would like to show her off properly before the trip.

To decrease the size of the picture in the photo tool I was using, I found a properties panel with a compression tab. I went to the resolution tab, decreased from 200DPI X 200DPI, down to 100DPI X 100DPI and set for low resolution. It compressed the file a lot. I don't know if it would adequately compress one that large, but it's worth looking around in your photo tool for a properties selection somewhere.

Best of luck,
