still stalling
Virtually everything I can think of to do has been done. Filters, rack screw. A good mechanic around here says that is the best it can get, but he hasn't seen it die in his possession.
Valves, filters, fuel hoses, screw. What else is there? |

What is still stalling? We need more information to diagnose your problem.

Ah ha! Good point. A 1980 300SD. Dies when in drive at stoplights etc. Usually runs better if shifted to drive or neutral.

I'd bet your pump might need to be calibrated. A good fuel injection shop such as Pacific Fuel Injection does a nice job and are Bosch authorized. You might also check injection/pump timing and cam timing.

I would check for leaks in the fuel line. Its possible air is being sucked in someplace. How good is the hand pump, they have been know to leak.
