Unhappy Central Locks not working

I am unable to use the central locks on my 84 300SD The big problem is that I can not get in trunk to check out the pump. I was never givin a trunk key ( the previous owners lost it) Can any one help?

Another thing is that the key wil not work anymore in drivers door is seems to be jammed and will not turn.

I think you can get a key from your nearest MB dealer with your vin number. Then look in the archives for vacuum info and get yourself a mity vac. Good Luick

I seem to remember the door and trunk locks being the same on my 123. If they are, was your trunk lock replaced? If the lock was not replaced then you might want to try adding that special lubricant made for locks. That might be all you need.

I have recently traced my door lock problem down to a bad vacuum supply pump. Actually a bad vacumm supply pump motor that fried the circuit board. I ordered a used one from Potamac German Auto for $95.00 - Better than $167 from Partshop - sorry guys...

I was able to get in by hooking a pump to supply lines under pass seat. When I removed the pump it was full of water does any one know if this is common
