Euro junkyards

Does anyone know how to get used parts from Europe?

I have an 85 190D Euro. On the back bumper, there's a missing plate that covers the trailer-hitch fitting and the electrical outlet for the trailer. I also need the plug for the electrical outlet.

FastLane and Rusty (mbz.org) both say they've got no idea where to get parts in the US.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I have a friend in Poland who is looking at sending 5 speed manual transmissions to the US... if you will get a picture of what you want I will ask him to look for that when he is out looking for them...

That sounds like a fun thing to do. I could really get into rooting around eastern europe for old BM stuff. I was under the impression that "westerm" europe sends allot of older cars to be sold or scrapped in the east. Keep us posted. I have the euro "85" 240d but have not had to do much to it and I don't know what parts are not easy to come by here. If you have any suggestions please let me know

Have a good evening all

I went to some MB wreckers in Poland this summer, my god, it was unbelievable.

Was looking into bringing some stuff over to sell here, maunly Euro lights, but there are quite a bit of duties here in Canada. Maybe it'll be easier in the states.

I've always kinda wondered if I could just take a trip to canada to get euros, after all there are only like two lights right? DOT and Euros? Anyway, I guess this answers that....
