Bleeding Brakes with "Power Bleeder"
I had a bunch of parts to replace on the brake system and had to bleed the system. I never had much luck bleeding with the Mighty Vac. I never felt like I got all of the air out.
Bought the "Power Bleeder" and it works great! Check out this link http://www.************************/ProductPage.aspx?productname=Power+Bleeder&productid=105048&productType=10&partnumber= BTW: I don't work for the company or anything related. Basically, it's a plastic bottle you fill with brake fluid. You screw an adapter over the brake fluid reservoir cap. Then, you presurize the bottle by using a small hand-pump on the plastic bottle. Finally, you just open the bleed nipples on the calipers and old fluid and air are forced out of the system. Very easy and efficient for the lone mechanic. best of luck

I too love mine. I used it just a couple of weeks ago flushing the brakes in my 300E.
When I bought mine they only had adapters for the Euro cars that use that particular thread. Are there other adapters available now? I would like to use it on some other vehicles. Have a great day, |

Yes, they have a pretty full line of adapters now. Check them out at:
http://www.motiveproducts.com/ Also, they have good prices on quality brake fluid. After seeing what came out of my 1982 300D during a recent flush, I'm all on board for flushing the brake fluid on everything I have annually. So I have to get more adapters too. Ken300D |
