can't part with the 300sd

cold weather start ?

Starting at temp below 32 f ?? Hold pedal down, pump 3 times or what works best. Had to have a jump other night as 300 sd would not start.. Thanks

what kind of shape is your battery in? without knowing anything
else, first guess is that's seen better days.

after extending the glow time say 20 seconds or so, i've given it a couple pumps on cranking and had no problem. usually don't have to do that though.

do you have a block heater? when it gets down there, i plug in
at night.

p.s. my brother-in-law has an '85 380 se. i want one some day!

Battery less than year old. Manual says to hold pedal down then start and slowly release pedal as it starts. This does not seem to work for me. No block heater but I see that I have the cord with plug up front (guess that is stand on these cars)..
