tranny vacuum system
I think the vacuum system in my 93 300D is messed up somewhere...
i heard that taking a reading of the vacuum will let me know if there is a leak or not...how do i go about doing this? where do i tap into in order to hook up a vacuum guage? what should the reading be? thanks in advance... Mario |

A search under this topic will produce quite a bit of writing although much of it is for the 123's. I know because I've been through it with one of mine.
Look up "I hate automatic transmissions" by Larry Bible and you'll see some links. Don

i had a little trouble on a 123 and the good mechanic at the dealer said that there is a small rubber elbow on the modulator that should be looked at first.
it was the root of all evil.
