Glow Plug Will Not Light
GLOW PLUG WILL NOT LIGHT. PLUG IN HEATER WILL NOT WORK.
WHERE IS 80 AMP FUSE LOCATED ON AN '87 6CYL 300 TURBO DIESEL? |

Obviously these two are different issues...
The glow plug relay is a black plastic box shape on the inner fender- drivers side. you should be able to trace the harness on the engine back to the box. It's a lead strip between two screws on the box. Just pop the top cover off... Do you have general power? Bad glow plugs will prevent the light from working- I believe either #1 being bad or any other two. Check them with a DVM- should all read about 0.6 ohms cold. Michael

My light was going off very quick. Sometimes would not light at all. Did quick replacement of first two plugs. Works great now. Light comes on.
