Sure looks like it is sitting in either a tow lot or a boneyard. The usual course would be that the tow company dragged it in after the theives did their number and then the owner sold it to them, or abandoned it and it was sold off to a wrecker. The latter is the most probable. In any event it would take a good amount of documentation to keep this one out of trouble if it were to cross most state lines.

Nah, it looks like the carcass was dragged straight out of the ML factory in Alabama..... Unless they've opened a plant in Arkansas - which would explain the "other" MB parts available.
Nobody could bone a chassis that clean.... no bolts, screws or anything indicating the body had even been finish painted. Am also thinking you guys are wrong about that being a junk yard - just because there are a few pickup trucks and bits of cars around....... hell, it could be just a typical Arkansas citizen's back yard. My take is that somebody works at the factory and had access to a hulk that was 'rejected' from assembly line for one reason or another...... and nobody objected when he snuck it home. |
