vacuum fitting replacement help
Hi,
I want to get some tubing to replace some of the vacuum attachments (simple straight-through, two way pieces) between the hard vacuum lines and the various nipples on certain parts. Fastlane doesnt have these, and I know my dealer just cuts from a long thin tube of the correct size, but the price is ridiculous. What do I need to know to get some proper tubing to do this? I am mainly concerned that some tubings may be too soft, and may collapse on itself. Id keep the rubber parts really short to minimize the chance of that, but still, I want to pick the right type of tubes. Can I get generic corect size tubes from autozone or lowes? ANy help is appreciated, Thanks JMH

I have used tygon Hi pressure tubing , try hardware , home depot , It is semi clear white plastic. I have used it, they have many sizes available. AC supply stores and Hydraulic shops also. Good luck.

It sounds like you're looking for the rubber tubing and Fastlane has it. I just bought a meter of it not too long ago.
