i'd like to think i got a steal for this car. it was up on ebay and he relisted it several times without anybody buying it. after a month of bidding and him relisting it. i finally got it (he lowered the reserve price). his story is that he got a company car. and need to get rid of this one. the pro's an con's i found about this car.

pro's
nice paint (my old was was rust color)
starts right up even in -14C
power seats
every acessory works
cd player came with the car
low milage
new tires

con's
need ball joints replaced (one side)
return fuel line leak (very small leak)
might need brake job soon
sun roof not working
i suspect the alt might be going bad.
some key marks
hasn't been maintained*

*when i made the 400 mile trip back home i start changing all the filters and the fuel filter was all gunked up, it was actually black inside, it was clogging and so it had not power. the oil filter is so old it actually broke in 2 parts in the filter. air filter was old and ghetto.

now she has all her filters changed, ran a can of diesel purge, some seafoam in the engine, and cetane additive with the fuel.

but now it is in my care. and she is running quite nice . in my opinion the W116 was a little quicker, preciser steering. and gave me more of a "muscle car" feel. this one is more luxurious and rides better. so i miss a lil something from that car. and i like a lot of things about this car. i wish i can have 2 cars

btw do they call this color copper? i thought it was gold
