Dash Switch Blank Removal
 

OK, here's another question for my project. Before I go & break anything, how does the switch blank next to the defroster switch come out? Does it just pop out or do you have to cut it or what? The rocker switch I found looks like it will fit perfectly in the hole.

The wood panel should come out pretty easily (it's held on my a clip in the back) and the switch blank should slide out. Use a small thin flat head screwdriver to help you work them out.

Thanks for the help. I should have looked closer before I asked, all I had to do was use a knife & pry it out!! Really simple. This one is all plastic, the panel and blank, unfortunately I don't have any wood in my car.
