300SDL front suspension trouble

My sister in law hit a big pothole with her SDL yesterday, and today the brakes are strange (soft pedal with slow application, hard pedal with fast application) and the right front groans and is VERY stiff.

I think the brake problem is a master cylinder on the way out (not the first time I've had that particular problem) but I'm concerned about the right front.

My first though was the shock was bad, but I've never heard of a shock binding up like that (unless it is bent?) -- usually they get bouncy or thump, not groan. Don't seem to get normal suspension movement, either.

Anybody have any suggestions as to what to look at? We are going to jack it up tomorrow night and take a good look -- Judy is going to use my 300D until we get it fixed.

Thanks guys!

Peter
