I have an article on the subject but it didn,t come out the other end of my OCR program too well so if you want to send me your email address I well send it to you (fidlersg@olympus.net). I am sure there is some other way to post it but I don,t know how.

You may want to try this link. I've yet to aim the Euro headlights on my 240D, but will when the weather gets better.

Is there a Euro Headlight aiming procedure?
I'm not sure if my euro's are aimed exactly right. Is there a simple 'at-home' type procedure for doing this or should I have them professionally aligned?

Yupper. Try http://lighting.mbz.org/tech/aim/aim.html It's really pretty easy but a bit subjective.

I aimed my E-codes using the instructions on that link. It was pretty easy and worked well. The only problem I had was I found the beam pattern to be aimed too low after adjustment to the specs. I ended up just cranking an even number of turns into the vertical adjustment of each light untill I was satisfied. They work great on low or high now. I don't get flashed by oncoming drivers so I don't think they are too high. RT

Thnaks everyone for the tips/links!
RW....mine were adjusted when installed by Donnie at MBA but it just seems like the aiming is too low...like you mention. If the aim is still too low after re-adjusting, I'll crank mine up as well. I did exactly that on my other non-MB car and it worked great and don't get any flashes from other cars.

ck42,
Just make sure you count the number of turns you crank into the adjusters so that you can get back to the original setting if you need to. RT
