high milage award - you can call mb for the form. fill it out and get it verified by any mb dealer - that's all there is to it!
from the mb usa website " If you are the owner of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle(s) and have driven it 155,000 miles or more, you may be eligible to receive a special High Mileage Lapel Pin and Certificate and Radiator Plaque. The awards are presented for 155,000, 312,500 and 625,000 accumulated miles. Applications are available from the Consumer Promotions area of the Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center, 1-800-367-6372. " it took about a month to get the badge (free..) after submitting the paperwork.

Just a little FYI. The grille badge and certificate are in Kilometers. So what you qualify for is a 250,000 KM badge. The certificate is very nice, however, it's not a "normal" size. If you were to frame it, you will need to trim a little off the top/bottom, to get it to fit in a standard 8 1/2 x 11 picture frame. The cert. is about 11 1/2- 3/4 inches long. You will need to trim some to frame it. Also, the cert. is written in German.
