Hydraulic Coil Spring Compressor ?
I will be sometime in the not to distant future be working on the suspension.
The thought came to mind to seach out the possible use of hydralic power. Question is does anyone know what force is required to compress the springs? Here is a link to a product that might fit the bill. http://www.whiteboxtools.com/detail.cfm?productID=1683 Don

Regular spring compressors have enough strength... but they have Access problems on the MB's..... so even if it is strong enough you would want to check and see if you can get it ONTO the spring in the proper place...

That looks like a tool specifically for working on McPherson struts OFF the car. I can't imagine a car with enough clearance around the springs for such a tool.
