Metric O-rings

I have found that you can pick up metric O-rings at your local Catapiller dealer. They are yellow in color and the size is lazer jet printed on the edge of them. It is my experience that they are superior to the black O-rings that you pick up at the dealer or the local parts house.

I don't know about metric O-rings, but

I know how to make a metric screwdriver in an emergency:

You blend 30 cc of vodka into 90 cc of orange juice.

My apologies, but it is the last day of classes for this semester here and my Latin students are all running out of the room screaming with joy, so I had to do something silly, too.

Actually, back in the '50s, the first several years of German cars did show a frustrating tendency to have slots in their screws which were too narrow for American screwdrivers, but a light touch on the grinder solved the problem quickly.

You can probably get them at your local Motorcycle shop also... and may cost less than Cat dealers... LOL... they are sorta like MB dealers... :D

Anybody know the size of the o-rings on the oil filter stem on W126's?
