Wow everything was easy!! Finished off the shocks and rear sway bar end links in about 2.75 hours.... yes I know it should have been less I took my time. The shop wanted to charge me for about 3.5 hours of labor or so. Couldn't justify that cost at ~123 an hour.

Next weekend I will do front and rear brakes (preventive maintenance). Hope things go as easily. Maybe I will get front replacement shocks by then. Oh and I will likely do the diesel purge also.

300d4me,

Congratulations! I figured the shocks were even easier on your car than a W123 as I recall the mounts are inside the trunk instead of behind the rear seats. Makes the access easier.

Never did the sway bar links, but glad it went well. Good luck, Jim

Thanks

Ever done the brakes on a w115? I've done disks on my '66 Mustang and on my onld RX-7. Must say the RX-7's were the easiest I've done.

Guess I should repack the wheel berings at the same time.
