Odor of antifreeze in 240D
This has come and gone over the past few days. No leaks obvious, all gauges normal when running, AC/heater/fan haven't been run.
Any ideas? |

Jim,
Antifreeze odor inside car is usually caused by a leak in the heater core. Its hard to detect a small leak but if the leak gets greater, you may find AF dripping from underneath the dash. The heater core is a ***** to get out. Maybe you could use a sealer in the cooling system and/or use Evans waterless coolant with a no pressure system. P E H |
