hello all I am back
some of you might remember me, I had a 1972 220d that I sold and regreat it since ;(, anyways I am going tomorrow to take look at 1985 300d I think it is with 200k km on it guy is asking $5000 for it ( canadian ) anyone have any thing to add, what should I look for ( trouble spots and such ) and how much I can take off on that price tag?

Look for oil leaks..... tampered ALDA...... drive it to see how it shifts.... check if the locks work (vac leaks)... and by all means make sure the ac works right! The price seems ok since it's Canadian. Can't think of anything else right now.
