cruise control problem

I recently had my engine steam cleaned, and noticed that my cruise control stopped working afterward. When I set it, it doesn't hold. Could something have gotten wet? What could be the culprit? Is the cruise control controlled by vacuum? What color is this vacuum line and where is it located? Is it in the bundle near the oil filter? Thanks in advance.

I saw on your other post that you found a loose vacuum line and fixed it. Check the cruise control again. On my 240D there is a vacuum line running to the actuator. Yours is probably similar.
