Thumbs up Coupe Rear Windows revisited (300CD W123)

Finally done with the bulk of my final exams. On my way home my friend played w/ the rear window switch and bang... there goes the rear window.

The regulator came off the window guide .. yet again.

I took everything apart and wondered why both windows wouldn't go down all the way.

Apparently it was the regulator arm attached to the guide incorrectly. Last time I tore it apart I took it for granted that it was the way the arm was supposed to be attached.

After I figured it out and put everything back together, both rear windows go up and down fine.

Except for the left window which would still get stuck on the way down... they are now working great.

A test drive revealed a great experience! The cabin was so much more airy with both rear windows rolled down.

I'm still trying to figure out why the left window would get stuck halfway down unless I 'guide' it down. When I had the panel, rubber seal, etc. off the window would go up and down perfectly.

Any ideas?
