Euro headlights for 83 300sd

I've searched the forum but I just want to clarify some things. I need a euro lights preferably without the vacum leveling optin but they must have city or drl capability. I've seen TYC bosch and cibie. Also what's the difference between euro headlights and e code headlights. Any sources for the lights for 300 or under would be great thanks a lot.

Check this out.
euro lights
Scroll down to Mercedes Headlights Part Number IVD4401102 Part Description Mercedes W126 S Class

They seem to have city light capability based on the 5watt bulb in addition to the fog lamp and the headlamp.

E-codes are direct replacements for your sealed beam headlight unit, so the car will look the same but lighting will be much improved.

importvision.com sells the Depo eurolights which do have the citylights. If you tell Ken that you are part of this board, you can get the group buy price of $200!!!

edge,
Thanks a lot for that heads up. Is ken one of the people who works at importvision.com and if so do you have an email adress. I was also wondering if i should go ahead and let my mechanic do the swap or should i do it myself. I'm concerned on how much the labor would be. Thanks a lot.

Yeah, ken is the one I got the deal from there. It suppose to be an easy install, I am waiting for my bulbs so I can install it myself. You can probably do it yourself. I'll keep you posted when I get mine done.

If you really take your time it may take 2 hours. Suggest removing panel under lights (3 screws). Make sure you have the new connectors and extra pins for city lights before starting. The hardest part of this task may very well be rerouting the wires into the new connector. Lot's of posts with detailed instructions on this site. Use the search function as suggested.
