http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2414838951&category=6329
Take the tranny and hardware out. put it in a 300SD and you'll have a really interesting car! |

California always has all the cool stuff. If it where in the north east, I'd be all over that. Go for it if you have the time.

Wow, a euro-spec M-110 engine with a four-speed gearbox in a 126 chassis. Probably will pass everthing but a gas station From the bids so far, it doesn't look like too many people are interested in it. I wish I had the extra $$. Could be an interesting toy.

It would have to be a grey market car.

Manual tranny, cloth seats, and less than 15 miles from me...if I had the $$, I'd take it and put the engine out of my 300D in there...

It is grey market. Just look at the VIN and the bumpers. Manuals in MBs are really not that rare in europe....then and now.

On Ebay, over a year ago, There was a similar grey-market W126, advertised with a 5 SPEED.
It was somwhere in upstate New York. I think it sold for about $3500. Happy Motoring, Mark
