Mine moves all the way up until the lower lever hits the maximum travel stop screw. 300SD 617.951 FWIW. Good luck.

617 IP throttle linkage
Can someone check this for me pleaseee. In your cars with this engine with the padal to the medal, how close is the IP throttle linkage to being maxed out in travel.. Im speaking mainly of the rod that runs along the back of the IP next to the block. (assuming this part in my conversion is the same in your cars) It for the most part moves vertically up and down.
I think I have only about half throttle in my Unimog that has the 617 turbo retrofitted into it. Niehter the hand throttle or the foot pedal max out the rod mentioned above. The pedal moves things only about 1/4 of the avaiable movement of the rod and the hand throttle only a bit more from that. Thanx in advance
